• A valid government issued identification required for service.
• For signature authenticity, documents must be sign in front of notary.

Medallion Signature Guarantee

A medallion signature guarantee is a special signature guarantee for the transfer of securities, investments, bonds, mutual funds, and IRAs. It is a guarantee by Equitable Bank that the signature is genuine and the bank accepts liability for any forgery. A medallion signature guarantee is required in many cases when an acknowledgment by a notary public is not accepted.

• Medallion Signature Guarantees are offered to Equitable Bank customers only.
• Various forms of identification and documentation may be required.
• A fee of $20.00 is charged for this service.
